John Thomas Pritchard, age 59, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at Coffee Regional Medical Center.  Mr. Pritchard was born on June 23, 1961, in Douglas to the late Willie Frank Pritchard and the late Loyce Bailey Pritchard.

 

Survivors include: Wife, Paula Dean Pritchard of Douglas, GA; daughter, Amy (Derrick) Shatto of Las Vegas; step-sons, Melvin Bush, Timmy Bush of Douglas, GA, and Steven Bush of Douglas, GA; grandchildren, Hayden Shatto, Silas Shatto, and Aurora Shatto; sisters, Annette Cribb of Broxton, GA, Mary Thomas of Nicholls, GA, Shirley (Jerry) Varnadore of Macon, GA, Joyce O’Dell of Macon, GA, Kathy (Mark) Purvis of Baxley, GA; brothers, James  (Joan) Brantley of Douglas, GA, Tommy  (Kat) Pritchard of West Green, GA, Bobby (Peggy) Pritchard of West Green, GA; and ten step-grandchildren.

 

The family will receive friends Friday, March 26, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home. 

 

The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm Central Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Interment will follow at Central Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility. Mask are not provided.
