Mamie Annette Ramirez, age 75, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Ramirez was born on January 5, 1946 in Dublin, Georgia the daughter of the late Albert O’Neal Hampton and Mary Jeanette Evans Hampton.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Ramirez, sister, Abby Drawdy and a brother, Al Hampton. Mrs. Ramirez worked with Wendy’s International as a manager for many years at a lot of different locations and attended Grace Baptist Church, Douglas, Georgia.

 

Survivors include two daughters, Hope Ahnberg (Kurt) of Brunswick, GA and Tammy Medders of Douglas, GA; sister, Alberta Gilleon (Bobby) of Brunswick, GA; two brothers, Albert Hampton of Brunswick, GA and Audrey Hampton of Hiram, GA; adopted son, Wenda Collins of Brunswick, GA; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

Memorialization is by cremation. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
