Mr. Roscoe Wayne Solomon, age 75 of Douglas, passed away Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021 at Tift Regional Health System, following an extended illness. Mr. Solomon was born June 13, 1945 to the late Roscoe Solomon and the late Jurelle Walkup Solomon.

Mr. Solomon, a native of Coffee County, was a self-employed truck driver for mobile homes.

Survivors include:

His wife: Geraldine Sapp Solomon of Douglas, GA

Daughter: Hope LaTrice Solomon of Rentz, GA

Granddaughters: Kaleigh Hamilton of Georgetown, GA
Alayna Solomon and Loryn Solomon both of Valdosta, GA
Elyssa Solomon and Macy Solomon both of Rentz, GA

Great Grandsons: Kolten Clements and Breydin Hamilton both of
Georgetown, GA

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.

The graveside service and interment will be Friday afternoon, April 30, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Salem Cemetery with Rev. David Bowen officiating.

The family will receive friends, Thursday evening April 29, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Clint Hamilton, Cody Lang, Dustin Williams, Rex Batten, Jr. and John Keanon.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, graveside service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions and in accordance with CDC guidelines.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
