William D. Graham Sr., age 81, of Georgetown, Georgia, formerly of Broxton, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. Mr. Graham was born on September 28, 1939 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late Elzie and Mamie Merritt Graham.

 

Mr. Graham was a retired construction supervisor with Massey Builders, Fitzgerald, Georgia and was a local home builder in Coffee County, Georgia. He was a member of Broxton Church of God, Broxton, Georgia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Allie Thomas and a brother, Thomas Graham.

 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Graham of Georgetown, Georgia; sons, Dan Graham (Crystal) of Broxton, GA, Don Graham of Broxton, GA and Jimmy Cravey (Lavonda) of Pearson, GA; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Dane, Eden, Jonathan, Christopher, Alana and, Alex; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Marie Griffis of Broxton, GA; 2 brothers, Charlie Graham of Broxton, GA and Elzie “Shorty” Graham of Broxton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends Friday morning, June 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Copeland and Rev. James Merritt officiating. Interment will follow at Broxton City Cemetery.

 

Musical selections will be “Sweet Beulah Land” and “In the Shadow of His Wings” sung by Dottie Hodges.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
