Michael Eugene Holland, age 54, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 in Augusta, Georgia. Mr. Holland was born on February 16, 1967 in Kent County, Michigan the son of Gary Holland and Susan Nichols Holland.

 

Mr. Holland was a math teacher working for Daughterly County, Ware County and Coffee County School Systems. He also was a radio announcer with WDMG and WOKA, a member of Waycross Gaming Community and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Douglas, Georgia.

 

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Susan Holland of Douglas, GA: brother, Brent Holland (Trina) of West Green, GA; 2 sisters, Barbra Holland of Jacksonville, FL and Nancy Swords (Chris) of Douglas, GA; several nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Douglas, GA with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. After the services the family will gather in the Parrish Hall for fellowship and refreshments.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
