Jan Studstill Phillips, age 66, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Phillips was born on January 8, 1955 in Fulton County, Georgia the daughter of the late John Studstill and Helen Wise Studstill Woodruff.

 

Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker, an Avon representative, volunteered with Open Hands with the Coffee County Ministerial Association and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, Douglas, Georgia.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Jimmy Studstill and, Alan Studstill.

 

Survivors include 4 daughters, Cynthia Phillips (Aaron Tomkin) of Worcester, MA, Elizabeth Stern (Mike) of Colorado Springs, CO, Michelle Moore (Rick) of Dandridge, TN and, Jessica Hudson (Mike) of Douglas, GA; step-brother, Rick Woodruff (Janet) of Maryville, TN; step-sister, Cheryl Robinson (Dean) of Warner Robins, GA; step-father, Alvin Woodruff of White, GA; 6 grandchildren, Keegan Smith, Michael Stern, Beric Stern, McKenna Hudson, Madelyn Hudson and, Marlee Hudson; father of her beloved children, Tim Phillips of Soperton, GA; several nieces and nephews.

 

The family will receive friends Friday evening, August 13, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens with Rev. Christian Colson officiating.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the Coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
