James Roger Kitchens, age 29, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 24, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Kitchens was born on August 11, 1992 in Douglas, Georgia the son of Roger Dale & Ruth Ann Jameson Kitchens.

 

James was a member of Salem Holiness Baptist Church, Douglas, Georgia.

 

Survivors include his parents, Roger Dale & Ruth Ann Kitchens of Douglas, GA; brother, Jason Kitchens of Greycourt, SC; 3 uncles, George Kitchens (Pat) of Bryson City, NC, George Tabbit (Rhonda) of West Virginia and, Calvin Tabbit (Mary) of Springfield, Ill; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

The family will receive friends Friday August 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Salem Church Cemetery.

 

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Salem Church Cemetery with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central GA 1160 Forsyth St. Macon, GA 31201.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
