Jamie Evans Thomas, age 40, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Thomas was born on August 4,1981 in Douglas, Georgia. He was the son of the late Randy and Faye Thomas.

 

Mr. Thomas was employed by Thomas Construction.

 

Survivors include parents, Mike and Sherry Thomas of Douglas, GA; son, Hank Thomas daughter, Mackie Jaye Thomas of Douglas, GA; 5 sisters, Dori Thomas, Brandi Thomas, Heather Preston (Robert), Jennifer Bair (Ricky) and Payton Thomas all of Douglas, GA; 2 brothers, Mickey Thomas (Leighanne) of Douglas, Ga and Brian Thomas of Pineview, GA; Nephews, Ret and Rowen Osteen, Logan Thomas, Kodey Johnson, Montgomery and Zean Preston, Bolden Bair and Brantley Thomas; Nieces, Olivia Thomas, Berkeley Bair, Kinsley and Karis Thomas; and special friend, Christie Highsmith.

 

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 3, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with Marshall Adcock officiating.

 

Pallbearers will be Ashley Merritt, Chris Merritt, Jason Merritt, Justin Merritt, Jared Vickers and Michael Vickers.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
