Glen Jerrell Peterson, age 46, of Nicholls, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Peterson was born on June 3, 1975 in Alma, Georgia the son of Walker Peterson and Kay Rigdon Peterson.

 

Mr. Peterson worked as a truck driver with J.A. Long Company and was a member of Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church, Alma, Georgia.

 

Survivors include 3 sons, Dillon Anderson of Nicholls, GA, Dalton Anderson of Nicholls, GA and Daniel Anderson (Angel) of Douglas, GA; father, Glen J. Worth of Nicholls, GA; adopted mother, Kay Peterson of Alma, GA; adopted father, Walker “Pete” Peterson of Alma, GA; brother, Douglas Peterson of Ray, GA; 3 sisters, Christy Johnson of Reidsville, GA, Jane McNew of Alma, GA and Shannon Phillips of Alma, GA; 3 grandchildren, Aubree Anderson of Douglas, GA, Braylee Anderson of Douglas, GA and Tucker Anderson of Nicholls, GA;

 

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. at Pine Level Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Level Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dillon Anderson, Dalton Anderson, Daniel Anderson, Eric Justice, Ryan Mims, Big Red Davis, Ruben Jewell and Jay Walls.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
