Mr. William Henry McClendon, aged 84, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mr. McClendon was born on June 21, 1937, in Douglas, GA, to Henry McClendon and Blanche Wright McClendon.

 

Survivors include two daughters; Ann Clayton (Thad) of Ocilla GA,  Joyce Cyr (Miles) of Palmetto, FL, Grandchildren; Maggie, Hanna, and Corbin, Sister; Patricia Fussell (Bobby) of Douglas, GA, and Brother-In-Law; Johnny Ward of Douglas, GA, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a Sister, Betty Jean Ward.

 

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM, on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 11:00AM at Mora Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Dennis Harper officiating. Active Pallbearers will be; Randall Merritt, Logan Merritt, Mike Merchant, Cason Kirkland, Rob Merritt, and Marshall Kirkland.

 

Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
