Rene Santos, age 55, of Douglas, Georgia entered into rest on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Santo was born on November 3, 1966 in Mexico and is the son of Augustina Saleron and the late Lorengo Santos.

 

Mr. Santos was a caregiver and a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Douglas, Georgia.

 

Survivors include his mother, Augustina Saleron of Douglas, GA; 4 sisters, Hilda Bardomiano of Broxton, GA, Beneda Santos of Mexico, Maria Astudillo of Douglas, GA and Elestina Jesus of Dallas, Texas; 4 brothers, Rafael Bardomiano, Pablo Santos, Antonia Santos and Gaudencio Bardomiano all of Douglas, GA; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. at 16 Tiffany Lane, Douglas, GA.

 

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brothers and Nephews.

 

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all customers, guests, and attendees to wear medical grade masks at all times while in our facility, as well as social distancing. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however the safety of our staff and those we serve are our primary concern. Masks will not be provided.    

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
