Mrs. Mozelle Brown Pridgen, age 74 of Broxton, passed away Tuesday morning, February 15, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Pridgen was born February 20, 1947, to the late William F. Brown and the late Nellie Jernigan Brown.

 

Mrs. Pridgen, a native of Ocilla, GA, was a retired secretary with the Tift County School Board. She was a member of Rocky Pond Baptist Church.

 

Survivors include:

 

Her Husband: Carroll Pridgen of Broxton, GA

 

1 Daughter: Kimberly Paige Fountain and husband Shane of Tifton, GA

 

1 Son: William Shane Pridgen and wife Nikki of Tifton, GA

 

1 Sister: Ludell Harper of Ambrose, GA

 

6 Grandchildren: Brett Fountain, Ty Fountain, Drew Pridgen, Will Pridgen, Kaylea Pridgen and Avery Weaver all of Tifton, GA

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

 

The funeral service will be held Thursday morning, February 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Spikes and Rev. Larry Stone officiating. The interment will follow in Rocky Pond Cemetery.

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday morning, February 17, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour of 11:00 AM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church.

 

Due to COVID, the funeral home has asked all attendees to please follow the rules and guidelines for social distancing and to wear your mask for safety precautions at the visitation, funeral service and interment.

 

Ricketson Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
