Mrs. Carolyn Jean Strickland Lott, age 76 of Douglas, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 15, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Lott was born November 21, 1945, to the late Carlton Edward Strickland and the late Sara Jane Kight Strickland. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lott, Sr.; a grandson, Brandon Lott and 2 brothers: James Earl Strickland and Bobby Strickland.Mrs. Lott, a native of Ware County, GA, was a homemaker. She was Baptist by faith.

 

Survivors include:2 Children: Raymond Lott, Jr. and wife Crystal of Douglas, GA
Margie Belcher and husband Kent of Douglas, GA

 

1 Brother: Carl Strickland of Douglas, GA4 Grandchildren: Anna Lott of Hinesville, GA
Dalton Lott of Fort Bragg, NC
Kenzie Davis and husband Seth of Douglas, GA
Zachery Belcher of Douglas, GA

 

Great Grandson: Gannon Lott of Hinesville, GAA number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

 

The graveside service and interment will be Friday afternoon, February 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM, at Vickers Cemetery with Bishop Britt Peavy officiating.The family will receive friends, Friday afternoon, February 18, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 1:30 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.

 

Due to COVID, the funeral home has asked all attendees to please follow the rules and guidelines for social distancing and to wear your mask for safety precautions at the visitation, graveside service and interment.

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
