Barbara Ward, age 81, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation, following an extended illness. Mrs. Ward was born on May 14, 1940, in Coffee County, Ga to James W. Graham and Alma Palmer Graham.
Survivors include: Her Son: Jimmy Crews, Sister: Gloria Gillis, Special friends and caretakers: Lynn Pelham, Wanda Pelham and Three grandchildren. Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by: Husband: Bobby Ward, Two Sons: Vance Crews, and David Crews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 11:00AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Casey Wright officiating. Interment will follow at The City of Douglas Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Don Thomas, Shelton Crews, Cody Crews, Brandon Spinks, Andy Jowers, and Dakota Thomas.
