Siegfried Sidney Eder, primarily known as Buddy, was born on September 19, 1965, in Chicago, IL, to the late Siegfried Joseph Eder and Velma Stewart Eder. He was the youngest of five children.

Buddy attended Coffee High School in Douglas, Georgia, and in 1986, he enlisted in the United States Army. Shortly after basic training, he was discharged due to medical issues. Even at a young age, Buddy enjoyed riding his bike, fishing, hunting, working with his hands, and other various outdoor activities that very well continued into his adulthood. He loved being on his motorcycle and going deep-sea fishing. Up until his death, he worked for Preferred Materials as a milling machine operator, which he also loved to do.

In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Renee Eder, and brother-in-law, Gordan Kennedy. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter: Cindy Latrice (Kazmeirski) Brockington of Douglas, GA; three grandchildren: Camille Elvey, Simieon Elvey, and Syniah Brockington; four sisters: Defphine (Thomas) Broton formerly of Lakewood, CO and Buffalo Grove, IL., Diane Kennedy formerly of Golden, CO., Alice Whatley formerly of Chicago, IL., and Cindy Hope of Asheville, NC.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Harrell’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
