Mr. James Donnie Smith, age 61 of Douglas, GA, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 3, 2022, at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Smith was born September 18, 1960 to the late Phillip Pat Smith and the late Joyce Burkett Smith. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elaine Holder Smith.

 

 

Mr. Smith, a native of Douglas, GA, was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of Harvest Time Church of God.

 

 

Survivors include:

 

 

2 Daughters: Shelley Smith of Willacoochee, GA
Sheena Liles and husband Parker of Pearson, GA

 

 

2 Brothers: Randall Smith and wife Sue of Douglas, GA
Johnny Smith and wife Connie of Douglas, GA

 

 

2 Sisters: Dorothy Porter and husband Curtis of Douglas, GA
Mary Jo Keene of Douglas, GA2 Grandchildren: Gabrielle Burns of Willacoochee, GA
Broughton Liles of Pearson, GA

 

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends

 

 

Memorialization is by cremation.

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
