Mark Judah Meeks, age 71, of Broxton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Meeks was born on August 26, 1950, in Douglas, GA, to Mark Daniel Meeks and Annie Eliza Knowles  Meeks.

Survivors include: Wife, Debra Meeks of Broxton, GA, Two Daughters, Betty Meeks of Douglas, GA,  Deanna (John Bowen) Meeks of Broxton, GA, Son, Michael (Carmon Anthony) Meeks of Douglas, GA, Five-Grandchildren, Luke (Ariadne) Spruce of Henderson, NC, Sarah (Johnny) Spruce of Douglas, GA, Tiffany (Corey) Spruce of Douglas, GA, Andrew Anthony of Douglas, GA, Kaylyn McKinnon of Broxton, GA, Two Great-Grandchildren, Lane Jones, Everleigh Spruce, Sister, Connie Walls of Orlando, FL.  Many Nieces, Nephews and Special Friend, Howell Leavens.

He was preceded in death by: Father, Mark Daniel Meeks; Mother, Annie Eliza Knowles Meeks, Four Sisters, Four Brothers, and One Great Granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at 2:00pm Broxton UMC with Rev. Jerry Hudson and Rev. Josh McLemore officiating. Interment will follow at Broxton City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Sims Funeral Home.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
