Mr. Hubert Wayne Cloud, age 78 of Douglas, passed away late Friday evening, October 14, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Mr. Cloud was born June 22, 1944 to the late Emmett Cloud and the late Neville Jones Cloud. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife: Gloria Faye Cloud and 3 Brothers: William “Billy” Cloud, Nolan Cloud and Edwin Cloud.

3 Children: Lisa Cloud Jones and husband Donald of Eugene, Oregon
Janet Cloud Pridgen and husband Derek of Broxton, GA
Kevin Cloud and wife Lori of Greenville, SC
2 Brothers: Julian Cloud and wife Norma of Valdosta, GA
Newton Cloud and wife Tandie of Bainbridge, GA
5 Grandchildren: Emily Pridgen Morell and husband Trent of Vicenza, Italy
Stephen Pridgen and wife Kayla of Broxton, GA
Abby Cloud, Savannah Cloud and Olivia Cloud all of Greenville, SC
Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends
Mr. Cloud will lie-in-state on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held, Monday, October 17, 2022 at 12:30 PM at First Baptist Church with Dr. Donald Hattaway officiating. The interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has ask that donations be made in honor of Mr. Cloud to The Gideons International PO Box 2138 Douglas, GA 31534. Envelops are available at Ricketson Funeral Home.
