Mrs. Evelyn Rawlins Chutjian, age 96, passed away April 9, 2023 at Heritage Baptist Home in Denton, GA following an extended illness. 

 

 

Ms. Chutjain, the oldest of seven was born November 15, 1926, to the late Harvey B. and Mary Harper Rawlins in Coffee County, GA. She lived in Daytona Beach, FL her entire adult life where she raised her children, Bobby and Marilyn, and made and enjoyed many lifelong friends. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and loved her church family. Aunt Etta, as she was widely and affectionately known, was a doting aunt to all her nieces and nephews and welcomed all anytime to visit her in Daytona Beach. 

 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her children, two sisters Madelyn Lawson and Lola Burch, and two brothers, George Rawlins and Joe Rawlins. She is survived by a grandson, Josh (Dana) LeBlanc of Bozeman, MT; two great grandchildren, Libby and Luke LeBlanc of Bozeman, MT; one sister, Becky Kirkland of Douglas, GA and one brother, Donald (Milblynn) Rawlins of Stockbridge, GA; Two sisters-in-law Jean Carol Rawlins of Broxton, GA and Annette Rawlins of Thomasville, GA as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

 

 

Memorialization will be by cremation and a private family service is being planned for a later date in Coffee County, GA. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
