Mr. Roy Carnell Prescott, age 76 of Ambrose, GA passed away Wednesday morning, June 7, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mr. Prescott was born February 1, 1947 to the late Emmett Prescott and the late Allie Mae Bazemore Prescott. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 9 Siblings: Simmy Prescott, Maggie Lea Prescott Spires Altman, Edward Prescott, Eva Mae Prescott Millington, Ralph Clinton Prescott, Helen Prescott Davis, Lynnwood Prescott, Inella Prescott Davis and Troy Prescott.
Mr. Prescott, a native of Coffee County, was a retired supervisor with Delph Battery. He was an active member of Rocky Pond Baptist Church and was also a dedicated contributor of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Stone and Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating. The interment will follow in Rocky Pond Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers for the service will be Troy Prescott, Jr., Herman Beasley, Kane Roberson, Bailey Weathers, Noah Cothern and Roger Prescott.
