Ms. Clara Mae Rowell Gourley, age 77 of Vidalia, formerly of Douglas, GA passed away June 20, 2023 at Fairview Park Hospital from injuries received in an auto accident in Dublin, GA.
Mrs. Gourley was born July 28, 1945 to the late Edward Rowell and the late Bernice Allen Rowell. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by Her Husband: Ralph Milburn Gourley and 5 Siblings: Linda Sweat, Helen Tapley, Jerry Luke Rowell, E. J. Rowell and Carolyn Nelson.
Ms. Gourley, a native of Broxton, GA, had been employed for a number of years by the Coffee County Board of Education as a bus driver. She was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.

2 Brothers: Larry Rowell and Charles Rowell both of Douglas, GA
Half-Sister: Sue Cofield of Clermont, FL
Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Other Relatives
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, June 22, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday morning, June 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Fender officiating. The interment will follow in Reedy Branch Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Ben Gourley, Jamie Rowell, Michael Tapley, Kenny Rowell, Ben Cato, Evan Gourley, Darrell Rawlins and Jason Sweat.
