Jerry W. Hamilton passed away at his residence, on July 7, 2023, following an extended illness.

 

 

Jerry was born on September 12, 1961, to John D. Hamilton and Reatha Adams Hamilton in Jacksonville, Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family, going to the beach and old westerns.

 

 

Survivors include: Daughter; April (Eric Rheaume) Hamilton, Granddaughter; Hendrix Harlow Rheaume, Grandson; Hudson Waylon Deercoski, Nieces; Kayla Wilson, Jennifer Childers, Nephews; Jared Vickers, Michael Vickers, Brandon Register, Ashley Day, Dan Moore, Kerry Moore, and Danny Lott, Special Friends; Morris Browning, Buddy Worth, and Lloyd Holt. He is preceded in death by: His beloved wife; Wanda Hamilton, Father; John D. Hamilton and Mother; Reatha Adams Hamilton.

 

 

The family will accept visitors on July 29, 2023, at Sims Funeral Home from 10AM until 11AM.

 

 

Memorial services will be held on July 29, 2023, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 11AM. Interment will follow at Burkett Baptist Cemetery.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
