Ms. Eulaine Ellis McCauley, age 86 of Wray, GA passed away late Wednesday evening, July 12, 2023 at Pruitt Health in Ashburn. 

 

 

The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Wray Holiness Baptist Church, with Bro. Steve Willingham officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery near Ambrose. 

 

 

Mrs. McCauley was born November 28, 1936, in Coffee County, GA to the late Thomas James Ellis, Sr. and the late Sadie Lee Ellis. She spent the majority of her life as a resident of Irwin County, as a homemaker, working at the old sewing factory, as a paraprofessional, school bus driver and finally as a postal worker. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her two children. She was also a devout member of Wray Holiness Baptist Church, which she faithfully attended for over fifty-five years. 

 

 

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Darlene McCauley of Jesup; Alonzo and Cindy McCauley of Fitzgerald; her grandchildren: Lee Aycock of Wray, Maegan and Wesley Reeves of Colorado Springs, CO, Wesley and Christa McCauley of Warwick, GA and her great grandson: Emmett Reeves of Colorado Springs, CO. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Alonzo McCauley, Sr.; brother Thomas Joseph Ellis, Jr.; and sisters Williene Ellis Ross and Juanita Ellis McCook. 

 

 

The family suggest those desiring to send memorials may send them by way of an offering to Wray Holiness Baptist Church or to Pruitt Hospice Care. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
