Richard “Richie” Stevens, age 52, of Ambrose, GA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 26, 2023. Richie was born on March 10, 1971, in Douglas, GA, to the late James Denis Stevens and Sherry Ann Griffin Stevens.

 

 

Survivors Include: His Beloved Wife; Jeanna Barnard Stevens, of Ambrose, GA, Three Sons; Christopher (Macy) Stevens, of Ambrose, GA, Matthew (Kristen) Stevens, of Ambrose, GA, and Logan Stevens, of Ambrose, GA. Three Daughters: Amy (Danial) Lucus, of Ambrose, GA, Alicia (Chris) Swinehart, of Ambrose, GA, and, Kristi (Easton) McBride, of Ambrose, GA, Seven Grandchildren; Brooklyn Stevens, Natalee Swinehart, Peyton Lucus, Paisyn Lucus, Ethan Matlock Jr., Mackenzie Swinehart, and, Jaden Swinehart, Step-Mother; Viki Stevens, of Ambrose, GA, One Sister; Jeri Lynn (John) Bussey, of Ambrose, GA, Three Brothers; Austin (Hidi) Stevens, of Ambrose, GA, Cliff (Cindi) Kirkland, of Douglas, GA, and, Ray Griffin, of Ambrose, GA,  Four Nephews; Vincent Stevens, Brent Stevens, Brian Stevens, and, Hunter Stevens, Special Friends; Gary Wooten, Brad Vickers, Troy Prescott, Daniel Paulk, Ali Paulk, and Debra Vickers

 

 

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at Sims Funeral Home, from 6PM till 9PM.

 

 

Graveside service will be held at New Hope Cemetery, on Monday July 31, 2023, at 2PM, with Brother Cliff Kirkland officiating. 

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
