Due to the expected high winds and heavy rain associated with Hurricane Idalia in South Georgia, all non-emergent, elective testing and procedures scheduled at Coffee Regional Medical Center for Wednesday, August 30, will be rescheduled. A Coffee Regional Medical Center representative will contact each patient individually to reschedule. If you have any questions regarding your test or procedure scheduled for Wednesday, August 30, please call 912-720-8306.

CRMC is prepared for the impending storm. The Emergency Room and all inpatient and emergent services will continue during the storm. If you experience a medical emergency, please dial 9-1-1. Please be aware should sustained wind speeds exceed 35 mph, EMS and other emergency response services will not be able to operate.

All CRH Physician Practices, Orthopedic Surgeons of Georgia, and Coffee Regional First Care will be closed on Wednesday, August 30.

We will continue to monitor the storm and maintain constant contact with local emergency management officials to determine if updates should be made. Everyone is encouraged to be prepared and ensure they have the necessary medications, food, and water for the next several days.

Local authorities ask everyone to remain home and off the roadways Wednesday until the storm has passed through our area. Please stay safe and consider if you have a loved one in the hospital communicating with them with a phone call tomorrow and remain off the roads.
