Trula J. Steptoe, age 82, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Steptoe was born on January 30, 1941, in Key West, FL to the late Ottis Oscar Norris and Ruby Knowles Norris.
Survivors include: Husband; Travis Steptoe of Douglas, GA, Two Daughters; Donna (Russell) Hunter of Marietta, GA, Rhonda McIntire of Douglas, GA, Six Grandchildren; Linda (James) Revis, Anna Chutino, Vincent Chutino, Jules McIntire, Lewis (Shannon) Rivers, Santana (Joseph) Williams, Seven Great Grandchildren, and a Special Niece; Dawn Norris. Mrs. Steptoe was preceded in death by: Two Sons; Norris Deason, Scott Fox, and One Brother; Al Norris.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
