Doris Jeanette Adams Whitley, age 76, of Broxton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, Georgia. She was born on January 1, 1947, in Coffee County Georgia, the daughter of Harold Adams Sr. and Doris Jeannette Allen.

 

 

She is survived by: Two Sons; Chris (Melissa) Clement of Douglas, GA, and Jason (Joseph) Clement of Valdosta, GA, Two Daughters; Kelly (John) Spivey of Bruceton, TN, and Tracey (Tony) Roberson of Broxton, GA, Sixteen Grandchildren, Seventeen Great-Grandchildren, and One Brother; Barry Adams of California. She was preceded in death by: Father; Harold Adams Sr., Mother; Doris Jeannette Allen Adams, One sister; Judy Olsen, and One Brother; Harold “Buddy” Adams.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 6PM until 9PM, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 11AM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Douglas, Georgia. Interment will follow at Cumorah Cemetery.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
