Mrs. Susan Elliott Hebert, age 67, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday evening, June 25, 2025 at her daughter’s residence surrounded by her family following an extended illness.
Susan was born February 27, 1958 in Plant City, Florida, to the late Edwin Wayne Elliott and the late Grace Alice Reynolds. She was co-owner of Assured Air – Air Compressors of Douglas, Georgia where she enjoyed working alongside her husband, Don Hebert. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved cooking and spending time with her family. Her hobbies included gardening and landscaping, bingo and puzzles.
Susan is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Donald “Don” Amedee Hebert of Douglas, Georgia; their 4 children: Jamie Merritt and husband, Dan, Jerry Parks, Troy Ladouceur, all of Douglas, Georgia, Stacey H. Garrett and husband, Kevin, of Plant City, Florida; 11 grandchildren: Todd, Jr., Devin (Krystal), Gabe, Emmy (Drew), Abby, Troy, Jr., Anna, Trinity, Tyson, Stefanie, Travis; 1 great-grandson, Jensen Garrett; 2 brothers: Edwin Eugene Elliott and wife, Mildred, of Toccoa, Georgia, and Mark Elliott and wife, Arlene, of Plant City, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
Along with her parents, Susan was preceded in death by a step-son, Todd Andrew Hebert, Sr. and a sister, Terri E. Harper.
Memorialization will be by cremation and no service is scheduled at this time.
