Douglas Rotary President Jim Cottingham presented copies of 35 Natural Wonders of Georgia to See Before You Die to Coffee High School Principal Van Allen and Coffee County Schools Superintendent Morris Leis.
Douglas Rotary Club donated copies of the new book, 35 Natural Wonders of
Georgia to See Before You Die, for the libraries at the Coffee County Middle School, Ninth Grade Campus, and Coffee High School. Rotary Club President Jim Cottingham presented the books to Coffee High School Principal Van Allen and Coffee County Schools Superintendent Morris Leis at the November 13, 2025 Rotary Club meeting. Rotarians Allen and Leis accepted the books on behalf of schools serving middle and secondary students. The beautifully illustrated hardback editions were written and illustrated by Charles Seabrook and Ann Litrel respectively and published by The University of Georgia Press. Dr. Cottingham noted that Douglas and South Georgia State College were honored to be included in the statewide launch of this impressive book celebrating Georgia’s treasures.
