At the request of the Fitzgerald Police Department, Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents are investigating the death of Shekela Woodard, age 29, of Fitzgerald.
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, at about 2:30 a.m., a 911 call was received in reference to a shooting that occurred in the 100 block of Sullivan Court in Fitzgerald. When officers arrived, they discovered Woodard had been shot and killed. It was reported there was a party being held at the home at the time of the shooting.
During the investigation, they found evidence supporting JiQuan Rocquee Hill’s involvement as well as that of Devon Tyrell Isabell and Curtis Hakese King. Felony murder warrants have been taken on Hill. Isabell and King are wanted for parties to the crime of murder.
These individuals are considered dangerous and the public is advised not to initiate any contact with them if they are seen.
