The Coffee track Trojans delivered an impressive season-opening performance at the Santa Fe High School Raider Open Classic meet in Alachua, Fla., ushering in the season with 56 new personal records and one new school record.
Senior Ensley Crawford opened her season in outstanding fashion, earning two second-place finishes and setting a new school record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.73. She broke the previous record of 2:25.18 set by Abbey Arnett on April 18, 2018, at the GHSA 5-A Sectional. Crawford also finished second overall in the meet and posted a strong 5:34.84 in the 1600-meter run.
Kalonie Styles (junior) continued her dominance in the 100-meter hurdles, clocking 15.41 seconds. She also set personal records in the 200-meter dash (27.48) and the 400-meter dash (1:05.94).
Kenyon Livingston (senior) won the 110-meter hurdles in 15.94 seconds and set a personal record in the 400-meter dash (54.87).
Ambriel High secured a first-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 30 feet, 2.5 inches.
Nicole Lloyd (sophomore) placed second in the long jump, clearing 15 feet, 4.5 inches, a major improvement from her previous best of 13-10.
Ja’Quarion (JD) Moore jumped 19 feet, 11 inches for second place in the long jump.
JaKareyun Tims earned third place in the 800-meter run with a personal record of 2:07.49 and added a strong 56.19 in the 400-meter dash.
Dillon Yarberry finished sixth in the 1600-meter run (4:59.55) and earned a personal record in the 800-meter run (2:09.89) for fifth place.
The meet proved to be a strong season opener for both the Trojans and Lady Trojans, demonstrating depth, growth, and determination across all event groups. With dozens of personal records already set, Coffee High School looks poised for a competitive and exciting season ahead.
