The Coffee County School System is pleased to announce the selection of Grady Hart as the new Assistant Superintendent of Operations and Facilities.
Mr. Hart brings educational leadership experience with a proven track record of leadership in school operations, safety, student services, and facilities coordination. He currently serves as Assistant Principal at Coffee High School and district-wide Assistant Athletic Director, where he has played a critical role in managing complex operational systems across multiple schools.
In his current role, Mr. Hart has led and supported district efforts in transportation logistics, facility management, school safety systems, and event operations, while also serving as a key liaison between schools, families, and community stakeholders. His experience includes coordinating maintenance programs, overseeing athletic and extracurricular operations, and ensuring compliance with state and district policies.
Mr. Hart has extensive experience in school safety and crisis management, serving as a coordinator for emergency systems, reunification efforts, and collaborative planning with local law enforcement.
In addition to his operational leadership, Mr. Hart is known for his strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families and staff. He has served as a tribunal chair and hearing officer, ensuring fair and consistent student discipline practices while maintaining compliance with legal and policy requirements.
Mr. Hart holds an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership (Tier II) from Georgia College & State University and was recognized as the program’s Outstanding Graduate Student. His professional learning includes specialized training in facilities planning, budgeting, school safety, and district operations, further preparing him for this critical leadership role.
