BRAVE Books has announced a partnership with the Satilla Regional Library System, making it the first library system in the United States to provide patrons with access to BRAVE+, the family-friendly streaming platform trusted by families across America.
Through the program, the first 100 library patrons to apply will receive access to the BRAVE+ subscription at no cost. Should community demand exceed initial capacity, Satilla Regional and BRAVE+ have expressed shared enthusiasm for expanding access to meet patron needs.
“The Satilla Regional Library System has always endeavored to provide the community with a wide variety of quality materials. We are pleased to be able to offer this content to our patrons.” said Rodney McElveen, Director of the Satilla Regional Library System. “Libraries exist to serve families, and that’s exactly what we intend to do.”
BRAVE+ offers family-friendly programming in a safe, screen-time conscious environment — giving parents confidence in what their children are watching. The platform was built on the same mission that has made BRAVE Books a trusted name in more than 275,000 homes nationwide.
“For too long, libraries have drifted away from their true purpose — serving as a safe haven for families and a trusted place in the community,” said Cooper Bell. “This partnership with Satilla Regional is a step back in the right direction. Families are hungry for quality, age-appropriate content, and libraries should be exactly the place they find it. We hope this is just the beginning.”
The Satilla Regional partnership is designed as a replicable model for library systems across the country, demonstrating that family-friendly content and community institutions are a natural fit.
Patrons interested in claiming their free subscription are encouraged to stop by the Douglas-Coffee County Library for availability and redemption details.
