On June 11, 2026, Douglas Rotary Club returned to South Georgia State College to celebrate one of Coffee County’s outstanding student athletes. Blake Bryant graduated this year from Citizens Christian Academy (CCA) and was a star pitcher and leader on their back-to-back state championship baseball team. Rotary President Jim Cottingham opened the conversation with Blake, and members and guests asked questions regarding baseball and his future at Clemson University or as a Major League Baseball draft pick. He discussed his favorite fastball pitch that exceeds 95 MPH and encouraged travel ball player Huck Clements (who attended with his father, Stephen, and grandfather, Milton Clements) to “build strength and always have fun.” Blake was joined by his family, great friend and teammate Gray McLean, and signed baseballs for local fans.
Douglas Rotary welcomed two new members to the club, Drew Anderson and Will Bostelman. Mr. Anderson is Coffee Regional Medical Center Foundation Director. He is a Georgia Southern graduate in Communications and earned a Masters of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Seminary and Doctorate of Divinity degree from Asbury Seminary. He is married to Sarah Greene Anderson and they are parents to two sons.
Mr. Bostelman is Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Executive Director of Fundraising. He is a Business graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where he served as President of the Student Government Association. Prior to joining Wiregrass, he built an accomplished career with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and as an entrepreneur with his own business, The Swingset Company.
