Betty K. “Sweeton” Wilkins, age 84, of Nicholls, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at her residence. She was born on August 17, 1939, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Colan “Buddy” and Myrtice Kirkland.

Her survivors include: Two Sons; Kenneth Michael Faulkner of Nicholls, GA, and Zachary Lyman Wilkins of Nicholls, GA, One Daughter; Kathy Hersey of Nicholls, GA, One Brother; David Kirkland of Douglas, GA, Two Grandsons; Keegan Faulkner of Douglas, GA, and Casey Hersey of Nicholls, GA, Four Granddaughters; Shantae Dockery of Broxton, GA, Kerrigan Brewer of Nicholls, GA, Kandace Hersey of Nicholls, GA, Jackie Jenks of Nicholls, GA, Nine Great-Grandchildren; Stallen, Adessa, Callie, Haysten, Acen, Anna, Waylon, Alita, and Krisson, Care Giver; Sheila Lott. She was preceded in death by: Husband; Lyman Wilkins, Father; Curtis Kirkland, and Mother; Myrtice Kirkland.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Sims Funeral Home in Douglas, GA, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Saving Grace Ministries in Douglas, GA, at 2:00PM, with Bro. Cliff Kirkland officiating. Internment will follow at Salem Holiness Baptist Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will include Keegan Faulkner, Mike Faulkner, Zach Wilkins, Adam Brewer, Gary Lott, and Casey Hersey.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
