Israel Benjamin Garcia of Jeff Davis County has been arrested and charged with child molestation after agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Jeff Davis County Sheriff’s Office searched his home. Officers and agents executed the search warrant on February 10 at a home in Jeff Davis County. Agents were looking for evidence of child pornography and related crimes. Aaron Gibson, 28, of Douglas, has been arrested after he allegedly punched two family members, including his 6-year-old niece, after his aunt denied him $5 to purchase marijuana. On Friday, February 10, 2023 Jeff Davis County deputies and investigators were dispatched to the Dollar General store in Denton.
