Irwin County authorities, along with the U.S. Marshals Service, are on the hunt this afternoon for a man they believe is responsible for a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Ocilla. An arrest warrant for aggravated assault has been obtained for 46-year-old Kenny Martin, who authorities say may still be in the area. Around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, officials responded to 208 W. McKinley St. in Ocilla, where they discovered the victim, Terrance Mack, had been shot in the lower body. Mack was airlifted to a Macon hospital, where he remains in serious condition. Stillwater police officials issued a press release Friday stating, “On Thursday, December 11 2014, 9:39 p.m., the Stillwater Police Department responded to the Stillwater Medical Center emergency room to investigate a reported domestic assault and battery. Coffee County sheriff’s authorities are reporting an inmate walked off from a work detail Friday morning and are asking the public’s assistance in their attempts to locate him. The inmate, identified as Tramal Ray Dailey, is a white male, 6’02” in height, 190lbs , with brown hair and blue eyes. Dailey was being held on a felony probation warrant and was awaiting a revocation hearing due to several technical violations while on probation. A Douglas woman who was suspected of attempting to steal items from Wal-Mart was also charged with two counts of narcotic possession last week after authorities discovered she was also carrying controlled substances. On November 24, the Douglas Police Department responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifting complaint. Officers were advised by Wal-Mart Loss Prevention that Wanda Marie Moore had attempted to leave the store without paying for all of the items in her shopping cart. Seventeen people lost their lives on Georgia highways during the Thanksgiving holiday travel period which began Wednesday and ran through Sunday evening. Of those, four were from Coffee County. On Thanksgiving Day, 22-year-old Nicole Torpea was killed as the result of a head-on collision that occurred in Candler County. A Douglas man was arrested and jailed last week on two counts of endangering a child after authorities say he was driving under the influence of alcohol with two minors in his vehicle.
