Mr. Alton Washington Brigmond, of Douglas, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the age of 76 following a lengthy illness. He was born Sunday, September 14, 1947 in Douglas, Georgia to the late Allen Linzy Brigmond and Ruth Carter Brigmond. Mr. Brigmond served our country honorably for two years in the United States Army. He later became a dispatcher in the trucking industry and was employed by Walmart Distribution Center in Douglas, Georgia. Mr. Homer Lee Justice, age 84, of Douglas died at his residence Thursday morning, November 30, 2023. Mr. Justice, a native of Coffee County, was born Sunday, October 29, 1939 in Broxton, GA to the late Jack Justice and the late Alma Cato Justice. He made his career at Coffee Regional Medical Center in the maintenance department where he retired after 23 years of dedicated service. Karen “Kaye” Hulett, 67, of Milan, Ga, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Community Hospice of Vidalia, following an extended illness. Kaye grew up in Telfair County where she attended Telfair county High School. She received a practical nursing degree as well as an accounting degree in college.
