Mrs. Petra Winter McQueen, age 50 of Douglas, passed away Tuesday night, February 9, 2021 at Southeast Georgia Health System, Camden Campus in St. Mary’s, GA following a short illness. Mrs. McQueen was born December 15, 1970 to Ms. Adelguende Heim in Ochsenfurt, Germany. Mrs. McQueen, a native of Ochsenfurt, Germany, was employed as a legal assistant while living in Germany. Mr. Richardson was born on December 21, 1949 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late Fred Walter and Mary Harper Richardson. O’Steen III, better known as “Dan”, “Big Dan”, “Pete” or most affectionately known as “Papa Dan” to his grandchildren and all of their friends, entered into the presence of His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ follow an extended battle against COVID-19. Separate recent incidents in Coffee County yielded the arrests of two individuals on methamphetamine and other felony charges. Deputies and drug detectives responded to the area of Fitzgerald Hwy. on Jan. 21 in reference to a possible stolen vehicle. Two individuals were located shortly thereafter with the suspected vehicle. Through a brief, on-scene investigation, authorities discovered a firearm, along with a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.
