The South Georgia State College baseball team (27-17, 12-5) beat Gordon State in Barnesville, Ga., Tuesday by a score of 6-3. Connor Durden led the Hawks by going 2-for-5 on the day. He doubled in the third inning to post the first two runs of the game. Two more runs came across the plate in the fourth inning for the Hawks. Tyrone Sam, a 6’6” sophomore from Roswell, Ga., was a second team selection.
