Eastside Elementary School kindergartners had a great time recently learning all about instruments in an orchestra as they read the text, Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin. The students were able to experience hearing the clarinet, trombone, trumpet, and the French horn. An extra special thanks goes to Patti Morris for playing her French horn for the students. Wow, we all want to be future musicians! Mrs. Connie Adams’s class holding special instruments with Mrs. Patti Morris. – Submitted

Several citizens have raised concerns about rumored City of Douglas plans to build a roundabout at the Touchton Drive and Red Bird Drive intersection of Touchton Woods subdivision. A roundabout is a type of circular intersection or junction in which road traffic flows almost continuously in one direction around a central island.
