Eastside students were busy the entire week of October 26 -30 learning about drugs and how to say, “No!”. There were many fun activities such as having an assembly, saying “Boo To Drugs” by wearing a favorite costume, and saying “Can It To Drugs” by bringing in canned goods for needy families. Students now have a better understanding about drugs, the choices they have, and the consequences that comes with those choices. – Submitted

Students and staff at Westside Elementary joined in the community to show their support for Passionately Pink For A Cure For Cancer on October 29 by dressing “as pink as possible.” Students and staff went all out to show their support for those affected by the disease and in memory of Westside teacher Lisa Chriqui and secretary Carolyn Bush, who lost their battles. Ms. Chriqui and Mrs. Bush will always have a special place in the hearts of all Wildcats, and “thinking pink” certainly brought back fond memories for those they touched at Westside. – Submitted
