Trojan drone soccer made Coffee High School history at the 2026 U.S. Drone Soccer Nationals at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Coffee entered Nationals as one of 24 teams, earning a Wild Card slot after finishing 3rd at the District V Tournament in Atlanta. Seeded 22nd, the Trojans opened against 11-seed Asheboro Blue from North Carolina and won in two sets.
Coffee went on to face eventual national champion Cabrillo High School from Long Beach, California. Even against the tournament’s top-ranked defense, Trojan strikers Chevy Palmer and Kenneth Miller combined for 36 goals. Coffee also earned a win over Dixon High School from Illinois before finishing its run against the Colorado Predators, one of the original four U.S. drone soccer teams.
The Trojans finished 16th in the nation in their first season.
Team members included Chevy Palmer, Kenneth Miller, Diego Martinez, Emmalie Seagraves, Jared Adkins, Tyler Paulk, Jonathan Martin, Emmilynne Woods, and Johnathan Yawn.
Coffee scored 173 total goals, 11th overall in the tournament. Chevy Palmer ranked 12th individually with 144 goals.
Several Trojan players were recognized by USDSA:
Emmalie Seagraves received the Aviation Achievement Award, Kenneth Miller received the Highest Flyer Award for leadership, and Chevy Palmer was named Team MVP. Jonathan Martin also won the Scavenger Hunt raffle prize, taking home a brand-new FPV drone.
USDSA President and founder David Roberts recognized Coffee High School as one of the rising programs to watch, saying, “If you don’t know them yet, you will, Coffee High School from Douglas, Georgia.”
It was an incredible first season for Trojan Drone Soccer. Coffee High School represented Douglas, Coffee County, and Trojan Aviation with pride on the national stage.
