Another former Trojan will be playing football in a different location next season. Offensive lineman Jerzabeon Grant, a 6’2”, 290-pound offensive lineman who has been playing at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, is now a member of the Edward Waters University Tigers in Jacksonville.
Grant played in 10 games this season for the GMC Bulldogs. He and high school teammate Kyler Smith cleared the way for another former Trojan, running back Tyrese Woodgett, who burst on to the NJCAA football scene this season and made Second Team All-America.
Edward Waters is a Division II school located in Jacksonville that plays in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC). In 2025, the Tigers were 5-5 overall and 4-4 in conference play.
