Ms. Lennie Whittle Robinson, age 93 of Douglas, passed away late Tuesday evening, October 13, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness. Ms. Robinson was born May 23, 1927 to the late Dred Whittle and the late Lennie Chaney Whittle. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings: Jess Whittle, Mink Threatt, Dub Whittle, Bill Whittle, George Whittle, Alma Williams, Mattie Barnes and Alice Singletary.

Ms. Robinson, a native of Broxton, GA, was a retired seamstress with Spectrum Apparel. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Deborah Lyne Smith of Douglas, GA

Son: Roger Hutcheson of Douglas, GA

Grandchildren: Brandy Smith Spikes and Mandy Smith both of Douglas, GA
Julie Hewitt of Pridgen, GA

Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

The graveside service will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:30 P. M. at Broxton City Cemetery with Rev. Walt DeLoach officiating. The interment will follow in Broxton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Ricketson Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.

Active pallbearers for the service will be: Dexter Kirkland, Bobby Barnes, Jarquavius Jefferson, Chris Martin, James Kinnett and David Claxton.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
