Joshua Cribb proudly represented Coffee High School and the state of Georgia at the Technology Student Association (TSA) National Conference, held this summer in Washington, D.C.
Joshua competed in the highly competitive Extemporaneous Speech event, where participants are challenged to demonstrate their communication, critical thinking, and public speaking abilities. Competitors receive a topic shortly before presenting and must quickly organize their thoughts, develop a well-supported speech, and deliver it confidently before a panel of judges. Only the best speakers in the country have the opportunity to compete in this event.
Qualifying for the national conference is a significant accomplishment, requiring students to first excel at the state TSA competition. Joshua placed 2nd in the state of Georgia at the annual state leadership conference.
The national event brings together thousands of the nation’s top career and technical education students, providing opportunities to compete, collaborate, and develop leadership skills.
Participation in the National TSA Conference reflects his dedication, preparation, and commitment to excellence. Beyond competition, students attended leadership sessions, explored STEM exhibits, and networked with peers from across the country.
Joshua’s participation at the national level is a source of pride for Coffee High, showcasing the talent and hard work of its students while highlighting the importance of communication and leadership in STEM education.
CHS congratulates Joshua Cribb on this outstanding achievement and applauds the commitment required to compete on the national stage. The experience gained through TSA will continue to benefit him in future academic and career endeavors.
