The fall 2015 semester is quickly approaching, and South Georgia State College is gearing up for an exciting academic year. Classes begin Monday, August 17, 2015. Time is quickly running out; now is the time to complete the application process if it hasn’t already been done.

Students who have already registered for classes will need to make payment arrangements before the payment deadline of Friday, August 7 at noon. Financial aid is available for those who qualify, and payment plans are available to all. Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov to determine if they qualify for financial aid. To learn more about the Nelnet payment plan options, visit mycollegepaymentplan.com/sgsc. Students are encouraged to make payment arrangements as soon as possible to avoid losing their scheduled classes.

If a student is attending SGSC but has not yet registered for classes, he/she may sign up for Student Orientation and Registration (SOAR) on August 12 to get a schedule in place for fall semester. Payment will be expected at the time of registration due to being past the August 7 payment deadline.

Students who are interested in attending SGSC this fall but have not applied for admission should call today! Contact the Office of Admissions at (912) 260-4206.
