Mrs. Doris Faye Key Phillips, age 75 of Douglas, passed away early Tuesday morning, June 26, 2018, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Phillips was born March 31, 1943 to the late Girles Glenn Key and the late Adell Aaron Key. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Ann Henderson.
Mrs. Phillips, a native of Jasper, AL, was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Junior Phillips of Douglas, GA; son, Bill Phillips and his wife Julie of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Chad Phillips and Atlas Hough and his wife Kayla both of Douglas, GA; great grandchildren: A. B Hough and Kallaway Hough both of Douglas, GA; several extended family members and close friends.
The funeral service will be Friday morning, June 29, 2018 at 11 A.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Stone officiating. The interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery.
