Mrs. Martha Smith Wilson, age 75 of Douglas, passed away late Friday night, July 6, 2018, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Wilson was born October 26, 1942, to the late Obie Smith and the late Corinne O’Steen Smith.

Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. She had also served alongside her husband, Rev. Billy Wilson at a number of churches during his ministry throughout Georgia. She was a member of Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) and West Ward Church of God.

Survivors include: her husband, Rev. Billy E. Wilson of Douglas, GA; son, Andrew Wilson of Douglas, GA; grandchildren: Arik Wilson, Eric Frazier and Leah Grace Wilson all of Douglas, GA; sister, Sylvia Joyce of Lincolnton, GA; brother, James D. “Jim” Smith and his wife Cynthia of Kennesaw, GA.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces, great nephews and a host of friends

The memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018, at 2 P.M. at West Ward Church of God with Rev. Britt Peavy and Rev. Carlton Ring officiating.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
