No one in Coffee County should suffer from hunger, but it’s not always easy to ask for help. The people of the Broxton United Methodist Church hope to offer a partial solution to this dilemma while responding to Jesus’s call to serve those He referred to as “the least of these.”

Church members joined a growing national trend on Friday, July 20, 2018, with the dedication of their Blessing Box, located on the church property at 105 S. Leggett Street in Broxton.

The concept of the Blessing Box is simple: Take what you need, add what you can. Above all, be blessed.

Anyone with a need is welcome to take from the Blessing Box, no questions asked. Anyone wishing to donate can also do so at any time. Church members plan on stocking the Blessing Box with numerous, non-perishable food items, along with toiletries, books, and a few other surprises.

For more information, contact Pastor Gary Griffin at (229) 457-8996.
