Mrs. Angela Marie Anderson Batten, age 61 of Ambrose, passed away Sunday morning, October 28, 2018 at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Batten was born March 27, 1957 to the late Burnell Anderson and Ruby Hall Anderson.

Mrs. Batten was a native of Coffee County. Angela was a loving and caring person who enjoyed life. She was a co-owner of Batten Tractor and Merle Norman Cosmetics. Angela attended First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Husband: Ronnie M. Batten of Ambrose; children Benajah “Ben” Batten and his wife Kristi, and Amy Bradford and her husband Scott, all of Ambrose; mother Ruby Hall Anderson of Douglas; sister Donna O’Steen of Douglas; and grandchildren Madison Batten, Maylee Batten and Adrian Bradford, all of Ambrose.

The memorial service was Wednesday afternoon, October 31, 2018 at 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Mr. Billy Waldron officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her memory to American Cancer Society 4849 Paulsen Street, Suite 102 Savannah, GA 31405.

Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
